Associate Membership

Banks Mill Studios can now offer support to creative industries practitioners who do not have a permanent studio space at the Mill.

The basic package is only £45 per year, with additional services being added to suit the individual, so applicants can select the amount of support they require.

Short-term Workspace

Pre-start companies or more established creative industries businesses can now hire studio space at Banks Mill on a short-term basis, for anything from one week to three months.

Details of the studios are as follows:

• sandblasted brickwork, white painted stud walls, wooden floors (at ground level the floors are concrete)
• good natural light, with most studios having large areas of window
• standard fluorescent strip lighting
• standard sized doors with individual locking
• sink and cold water feed with option to connect water heater (except small fourth floor studios)
• provided with standard double electrical sockets. The studios on the ground floor have additional three-phase electricity
